The Back-to-School/Stay-in-School
Program was created in response to alarming high school dropout
rates. Understanding the correlation between education and
life-long earnings and the need to maximize the human potential.
The program's goals are to increase the human potential and
the number of skilled and literate African American youth
graduating from high school by providing them with mentoring,
tutoring, remedial assistance and incentives for maintaining
regular attendance.
